  • More than 130 tonnes of waste material waste collected, with an 82.6% landfill diversion rate achieved.
  • Floriade were the first major festival to collect coffee cups via Simply Cups Australia, diverting more than 98,300 cups from landfill.

Testimonial

“It’s important to us that the way we operate is also working in a sustainable and environmentally friendly way. Floriade attracts about half a million people to the event each year, half of those come from interstate or overseas so it is a really big drawcard for the ACT. We were looking for a company that could work with us on improving the ways that we manage waste onsite, and could work with us on reducing the waste that we were actually generating.”
